Pakistan Day 2024 On the morning of March 23rd, our school’s morning assembly was transformed into a vibrant celebration of patriotism and national pride as we commemorated Pakistan Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The assembly kicked off with the melodious strains of the national anthem, filling the air with a sense of unity and reverence. Students and teachers gathered with unwavering spirit, eager to honor the significance of this historic day. The students took to the stage to deliver speeches, recite poetry, and enact skits that depicted the struggles and sacrifices of our forefathers in their quest for independence. Their performances not only showcased our rich cultural heritage but also served as a poignant reminder of the importance of upholding the values of freedom and sovereignty. March 23rd wasn’t just a date to us; it was a symbol of our collective identity and a reminder of the sacrifices made to secure our freedom. VICTORY at the Interschool Maths Masters Competition The Maths Department at The Intellect School is thrilled to share our success at the Interschool Maths Masters Competition hosted by Reflection School. Our dedicated team, led by Ms. Tayyaba Tufail, proudly secured the 2nd position, showcasing their exceptional mathematical prowess. The competition, attended by seven esteemed schools, provided a platform for students to demonstrate their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. Our team’s outstanding performance reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment they put into preparing for the event. Despite facing stiff competition, our team remained resilient and showcased exemplary teamwork, critical thinking, and perseverance throughout the competition. Their success not only highlights their individual talent but also underscores the strength of our Maths Department and the quality of education provided at The Intellect. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Tayyaba Tufail, Marium Muneer (VIII C)  and Hafsa Naveed (VIII D) for their remarkable achievement. Their victory serves as an inspiration to all students and reaffirms our school’s commitment to excellence in mathematics education. Sports day The Annual Sports Day event was held on Friday, 2nd February 2024, at the school’s field, organized by the boys’ campus. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. The event commenced with a vibrant opening ceremony, featuring the recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat, National Anthem and an impressive march-pass parade of athletes representing their houses. The atmosphere was electrifying as students, teachers, and parents cheered on the participants. The sports day featured a wide collection of athletic races providing to various age groups and skill levels. From sprint races, obstacle races to long-distance runs, participants showcased their speed, endurance, and determination. The races were fiercely contested, with each participant giving their best to cross the finishing line. A highlight of the event was the mesmerizing gymnastics display, where students demonstrated their agility, flexibility, and strength through graceful routines and acrobatic feats. The audience was captivated by the seamless coordination and skillful performances of the gymnasts, leaving everyone in awe. Adding a martial arts flair to the sports day, a taekwondo demonstration was held, showcasing the discipline, precision, and power of the participants. The martial artists exhibited various techniques, including kicks, punches, wood, and tile breakings, impressing the audience with their skill and focus. In addition to individual events, team races such as relay races and tug-of-war were organized, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and cooperation. Students collaborated closely with their teammates, strategizing and supporting each other to achieve victory. As the day drew to a close, the closing ceremony celebrated the achievements of the participants. Medals were awarded to the winners, and a trophy was awarded to the Blue House as they scored the most points across various events. Inter-House Futsal Tournament 2024 The Inter-House Futsal Tournament took place from February 6th to 8th, involving students from grades 4 to 8 from SHU and H2. Each day of the tournament was filled with excitement as students showcased their talents and competitive spirit. On February 6th, students from grades 4 and 5 competed in thrilling matches on the futsal court. The Blue House emerged as the winner after intense games, showing great teamwork and skill. Awards for Grades 4-5: Musab Shakeel was named Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance. Ahmed Jehanzaib was recognized as the Best Defender for his excellent defensive skills. Zain-ul-Aabdeen earned the title of Best Goalkeeper for his exceptional saves. The excitement continued on February 7th as students from grade 6, SHU, and H2 competed. The Green House emerged victorious, demonstrating resilience and talent. Awards for Grade 6, SHU, and H2: Saud Al-Kabeer was named Player of the Tournament for his exceptional contributions. Hashim Maredia was honored as the Best Defender for his strong defense. Ameer Hamza received recognition as the Best Goalkeeper for his remarkable saves. On February 8th, students from grades 7 to 8 competed fiercely. The Red House emerged as the winner, showcasing teamwork and resilience. Awards for Grades 7-8: Kabeer Ahmed was crowned Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performances and leadership. Naveed Ahmed was recognized as the Best Defender for his solid defensive play. Mohid Shoaib was awarded Best Goalkeeper for his excellent goalkeeping abilities.
