Qirat Competition 2022 Qirat competition was held in the auditorium at the Intellect School on 12th October, 2022. The competition was a healthy contest among the students giving them the encouragement of reciting the Holy Quran. Students from grades IV till VIII, SHU and H2 participated in the event with great courage. Fathers were also invited in this event who’s presence boosted the morale of the participants. Nursery Colour Yellow Week Celebration Yellow, the colour of the magnificent sun, was visible all over the Nursery Hallway from 10th-13th October 2022. The celebrations of the yellow week had officially begun! To ensure maximum learning and participation,various activities were planned to cater to various skills of the young learners. They talked and shared details about their favourite yellow toy with their peers through Show and Tell. The cognitive and creative skills of the learners were polished through colour sorting games, outdoor play, finger painting and bubble wrap art. The learners recited nursery rhymes as they collaboratively played treasure hunt to find yellow items. The week ended as the blooming sunflowers of The Intellect entered their classes dressed up in different shades of yellow!The games and activities assisted the learners in enhancing their skills and abilities. Spelling Bee Contest Junior I Section 2022-23 The Spelling Bee Contest of Junior I was held on Thursday, 29th September 2022 in Zainab Qasim Auditorium. The teachers, students and mothers of the participants were in the audience to show their support. The students of Grade I and II performed wonderfully. The preparation of Grade III students impressed the audience, it was a challenge to break the tie! The event came to an end with words of motivation and appreciation by the Principal, Vice Principal Senior and Junior Section. Mathlete 2022 Mathlete competition was held in the auditorium at the Intellect School on 19th October, 2022. The competition was a healthy contest among the students giving them a real boost in their confidence and providing a platform to exhibit their quick-thinking and mental skills. Qirat and Hamd Competition 1444/2022 The Intellect School O Level Girls’ Section hosted the Inter-class Qirat and Hamd-o-Naat Competition on 26th Safr 1444/23rd September 2022 Friday. Participants mesmerised the audience with their heartfelt recitations, MashaAllah. Elementary Section Grandmothers’ Week Grandmothers are the family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of traditions! To honour our “Grandmothers” The Intellect School Elementary Section celebrated “Grandmother’s Week”. The teachers and the students prepared for the week by making souvenirs and gifts for the grandmothers.During the week, our young learners enjoyed various activities such as storytelling, drawing, painting and snack making with their grandmothers. Elementary Stage Performance on Professions An entertaining and exciting in-house program on the theme of “Professions” was organized by the Elementary Section on Friday, 28th October 2022. The children dressed up in different uniforms and attires, exhibited confidence while performing on stage. Through these performances, the young minds learned the importance of various professions in making society a better and safer place to live!While building on the learners’ academics through increased vocabulary and general knowledge, the event and its preparation also developed them emotionally by washing away their reluctance of performing on stage. The presence of the School Heads motivated the students and the teachers further! It was a spectacular way to introduce professions and build respect for the community helpers. Bayan On Friday 21st, the former cricketer, brother Saeed Anwar delivered a bayan in the auditorium to the students of both Boys’ and Girls’ sections.Brother Saeed has been serving the cause of Deen since 2001. He is one of the most inspirational speakers in the work of Dawah. Many of his teammates have transformed religiously after his transformation. The students listened to him earnestly during the bayan and enthusiastically made intentions to serve the Deen as a life purpose.. [robo-gallery id=”14967″]
