Nursery Colour Yellow Week Celebration  Yellow, the colour of the magnificent sun, was visible all over the Nursery Hallway from 10th-13th October 2022. The celebrations of the yellow week had officially begun! To ensure maximum learning and participation,various activities were planned to cater to various skills of the young learners. They talked and shared details about their favourite yellow toy with their peers through Show and Tell. The cognitive and creative skills of the learners were polished through colour sorting games, outdoor play, finger painting and bubble wrap art. The learners recited nursery rhymes as they collaboratively played treasure hunt to find yellow items. The week ended as the blooming sunflowers of The Intellect entered their classes dressed up in different shades of yellow!The games and activities assisted the learners in enhancing their skills and abilities. Partnership with Parents Programme “Effective Parenting” Motivational Talk on ‘Effective Parenting’ was organized on 8th September, 2022 for the mothers of Junior I (Grade 1, 2 & 3) and Elementary Section (Nursery, KG-I & KG-II) as a part of the Parent Partnership Programme. Ms.Madiha Aadil talked about the concept of Tarbiyah and the effective methodologies for Tarbiyah of children. Mathlete 2022  Mathlete competition was held in the auditorium at the Intellect School on 19th October, 2022. The competition was a healthy contest among the students giving them a real boost in their confidence and  providing a platform to exhibit their quick-thinking and mental skills. Students from grades IV till VIII, SHU and H2 participated in the event enthusiastically. Spelling Bee Competition held by the Boys’ Campus. Learning a language is the foremost step in the life of a child as it helps him to communicate with the world.The Spelling Bee Competition was held at The Intellect School for Grade IV to VIII aiming at creating awareness of the varied words in oral expression .The objective of the competition was to enhance the spelling skills of children by encouraging them to explore the English language, expand their vocabulary and improve their communication with correct pronunciation. Spelling Bee competition is pivoted on the key mission of the academy: a. promoting educational excellence and adding value to intellectualism through contents and competitions. b. to cultivate reading culture in the young minds, creating a  platform that would make education attractive and worthy adventure to embark on.   [robo-gallery id=”14628″]

Elementary Section Grandmothers’ Week Grandmothers are the family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of traditions! To honour our “Grandmothers” The Intellect School Elementary Section celebrated “Grandmother’s Week”. The teachers and the students prepared for the week by making souvenirs and gifts for the grandmothers.During the week, our young learners enjoyed various activities such as  storytelling, drawing, painting and snack making with their grandmothers. Qirat Competition 2022 Qirat competition was held in the auditorium at the Intellect School on 12th October, 2022. The competition was a healthy contest among the students giving them the encouragement of reciting the Holy Quran. Students from grades IV till VIII, SHU and H2 participated in the event with great courage. Elementary Stage Performance on Professions An entertaining and exciting in-house program on the theme of “Professions” was organized by the Elementary Section on Friday, 28th October 2022. The children dressed up in different uniforms and attires, exhibited confidence while performing on stage. Through these performances, the young minds learned the importance of various professions in making society a better and safer place to live!While building on the learners’ academics through increased vocabulary and general knowledge, the event and its preparation also developed them emotionally by washing away their reluctance of performing on stage. The presence of the School Heads motivated the students and the teachers further! Red Colour Weak Colours are indeed the smiles of nature! To celebrate the joy of colours we have a colour week  every month and the colour of this month was Red. The Red Colour Week was from 12th-16th August 2022. The Nursery hallway was filled with red decorations. The learners got the opportunity to enhance their communication skills as they confidently participated in the “Show and Tell” activity in their classes describing the red object they brought from home. They enjoyed making red jelly in the class with their teachers and classmates. On Friday, to mark the end of the Red Week, the teachers and students dressed up in red.  The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. The shades of red made the environment bright, lively and cheerful.The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children sort and classify objects based on colours thereby reinforcing cognitive skills.
